Our Mission
At The community CAN, our mission is to reduce food insecurity by sourcing food stocks no longer required, by manufacturers and food waste schemes, and offering it to families, on a membership basis. Reducing food waste and feeding families for less.
Community Support Initiatives
Throughout the year we provide various initiatives and activities, to support the families in our community, Including free holiday activities, free breakfasts and holiday food packs, Tunstall Market middle isle uniform bank plus Our Christmas toy appeal and Father Christmas's Magical Market, to name but a few.
Our Impact
Over the past year, we have helped over 1,000 families, in our community, access affordable food, Emergency food support, free period products (including reusables) school uniform items, free activities, crisis support and much more.
